Leatherman Charge TTi - Lighter Than XTi

For a little over a hundred dollars, the Leatherman Charge TTi Multitool lives up to its price with features every guy would be satisfied with. The Leatherman Charge TTi Multitool comes with a TTi clip-point blade made out of S30V stainless steel. The lightweight corrosion resistant TTI handles are quite something as well. They are made of premium alloyed titanium thereby allowing for corrosion to penetrate it longer than it really should.

When we speak of multitools, we immediately think Leatherman. This is one brand that stands out from all the others. Leatherman is known for its high quality multitools and one of them being the Charge TTi Multitool. In reality, there Charge TTi Multitool from Leatherman is a huge family with many members. To name a few, there is the ALX and the AL aside from the TTi mentioned here. Either way, this family is in high demand among the male population because of the tools and features they pack.

For the Charge family, Leatherman has opted to be different. The knife blades are visibly bigger than other Leatherman multitool products. They are also wider. The height and weight of the knife blades in the Charge family gives the user more edge in cutting. The pliers are now able to squeeze load that’s 133% or higher compared to the other multitools from the same brand. This means that the Charge family’s tools packs more strength compared to the other Leatherman multitool models. The Charge TTi Multitool as well as the Charge ALX and AL are heavy duty multitools.

The Charge TTi is known to be lighter than the previous Leatherman multitool model, XTi. It is .10 ounces lighter to be exact. The TTi is a hit to many multitool enthusiasts because of its specs. Mentioned in the full specs of the TTi are the titanium handles and the S30V clip-point knife only exclusive to this model or version of Leatherman’s many multitools. Along with the S30V clip-point knife, the Charge TTi has about 19 individually unique tools in it. Some are wire and hardwire cutters, needlenose and regular pliers, scissors, wood or metal and diamond-coated files, and fixed lanyard rings and quick-release lanyard rings among others. Aside from the S30V clip-point knife, the model, too, is equipped with a serrated knife. With these features, who wouldn’t want to have this tool handy when they’re on outdoor trips? Surely most would love to bring this one behemoth beauty along.

The Charge TTi, when bought from Amazon, comes with a sheath made of premium leather or nylon. This sheath serves as protective covering for the Charge TTi. The sheath not only protects the multitool from any damage but it also makes carrying it easier.

The multitool costs a little over a hundred dollars on Amazon. Including the shipping fee, it might cost more. Most people would, however forgo the price for the quality of the products. It would be best to get this one if quality is what you’re after.
